Getting this thing ready for KICK OFF!!!

Day Before the PARTY (used loosely) begins.....

One of my absolute life long best friends is getting married to the man of her dreams on March 29, 2014.

I was honored beyond words and super duper excited to be asked to be a bridesmaid and CANNOT wait to see these two soul mates stand before God and all their family and friends as they join together as man and wife. To see these two together is to see true love. As a single McSingleton, seeing couples like Amber and Tim, my brother, Paul and his wife, Ali, and my aunt Barbara and Uncle Tom, to name just a few, it is a clear reminder that our true loves are out there... waiting.

Anywhoo... I digress... So March 29th... which is exactly 77 days from today.  That leaves me with approximately 76 days to prepare. Therefore... tomorrow begins the countdown to the dress. Now you might be saying... "Oh come on now Liz" "It's just a wedding" " No big deal. It's not about you at all". And you would be COMPLETELY accurate. However, for those that know me... you know that I am not the girly girl type. My idea of dressing up is my black slacks and ** insert tank and cardigan here**. My normal dress is of course my jeans and some random t-shirt. It is not and has never been to wear a dress... and not only just A dress but a sexy sexy dress that comes ABOVE my knees. (Oh the horror... :-))

So while I have no doubt that even if I decided to go on a Chic Fil A diet and grow to... well a lot bigger, I know I will have a blast and love every stinkin second of being with dear friends. However, that will NOT be the case as I will not look like a pink puff of cotton candy on my sweet friends day.  Starting tomorrow, I will be kicking off my 90 Days to the dress with a P90x and TurboFire hybrid workout. True... I will not complete the 90 by the time of the wedding but alas... What canya do?

So today is all about the prep. Goals for today will include doing my meal plan, deciding whether or not "accidentally" scratch the Plyometrics disc (kidding... kind of), ensuring all my protein and food products are ready to go, ridding the house of all "danger foods" (which won't be so hard since my roommate (???), Mark, is a health nut who doesn't eat that stuff generally), and getting myself mentally ready as I have the workouts starting before work at 6:30 am (Let's take a moment... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA). Oh.. and taking down the blasted Christmas tree so I have room to move, especially if the Markster decides to participate with me.

The biggest obstacles for me, I know, will be my Coke Zero and coffee intake as well as the lack of water intake, in addition to the fact that I am setting this for the buttcrack of dawn (for me) and am hoping that I will be able to stick with keeping up the motivation. The eating will be fine, I feel, as we have a pretty healthy diet. The last time I did P90, I wasn't eating enough so I will need to be mindful of that.

Gonna take the measurements once Mark gets back from church and will post this as well as my starting pictures (GASP). I will  be trying to blog once a day as I believe accountability is everything and this will be one of my ways of sticking to it.

To be continued......
