Day 4 P90x Lean- KenpoX

Good evening!!! Boy am I tired. Today seemed to last forever. Getting ready to hit the sack in just a few minutes but wanted to at least give a quick update on the day.

Exercise

Woke up a tad bit late this morning. I think I subconsciously knew that I had a doctors appointment and didn't have to rush around. Figured I could throw in a quick round of Yoga X and mosey on with my day. WHAT??? So wrong I was. Turns out Yoga X is an hour and a half long. Not the greatest exercise to do on a weekday when there are time constraints AND I woke up late. So, I switched out today's Yoga for Saturday's Kenpo X. This will work better with my schedule. I really enjoyed Kenpo for the most part. The only frustration I had was that my the disk kept trying to "read media". Very frustrating when your screen freezes mid frame for minutes at a time. Mark looked at it tonight and thinks the XBox's lens is dirty. Looks like I will need to hook up the good ol' DVD player before tomorrow before Legs and Back. Kenpo though, despite the disk errors, is a workout you can do anytime. Fast paced, energetic, and full of punches and kicks. Reminds me of my old Karate classes.

Food

Well, I devoured breakfast and was it ever yummy. That is for sure my biggest meal of the day. I only had cottage cheese with strawberries during lunch (in a meeting so had to eat and meet fast). Dinner I was not hungry so had a bowl of cereal. To say my calorie intake was low today is an understatement. I am going to have to eat something else otherwise I will be over 500 shy of my base goal. I might cook up an egg or two before bed. (Calories might be low but cholesterol for the day sure isn't going to be. :) ) Thanks to the active Kenpo, I killed the water today. Will have over 10 glasses of water today. (Probably why I didn't feel so hungry). One Coke Zero.

Mentality

Had a doctors appointment today. Doc told me I have lost over 8 pounds since my last visit a few weeks ago. She said three pounds a week isn't detrimental to me, especially when considering the working out combined with the healthier eating. Just cautioned me to ensure I was eating. Felt pretty good and actually wore a pair of slacks to work that had been too tight previously. Woot Woot.  Talked to my cousin, Nikki Jake, today. Boy do I miss him. Such a great guy. That was probably the highlight of my day.

Need to get to bed earlier  as I am feeling the drag later in the day when I go to sleep after midnight.

On that note... Have a great night!!
