Well, I have not been great at updating daily by any means. I have not been getting up early every morning like I'd prefer but I have still been getting in my workouts on the missed days after work. Unfortunately, this discombobulates my entire schedule and system and at the end... I'm just too tired to write after working out, getting dinner ready, taking care of the dogs, and then finding a few minutes to just chill with Mark before bed.
Well, this morning I woke up and had my fitting for the bridesmaid dress. I got my dates jumbled and thought it was the 31st when it was actually the 30th. Davids Bridal was super fantastic though and allowed me to come in this morning. GREAT news!!! My dress was too big. As soon as I put it on the tailor was like "oh no no.. this is a whole size bigger than it needs to be". So she ordered an 8 for me but cautioned me about too much more loss. I explained what I was doing and the fact that it was a 90 day program. My goal was not to crash diet and that in fact, I was working on eating MORE food. She said that if I lost more than ten more pounds... the eight would not fit and they would not have time to order a six or tailor it down before the wedding. So.. I will really need to focus on my eating and maybe alter down the intensity. I certainly won't be stopping my program but can ease up just a tad. On the whole, I felt pretty great about going down the dress size.
Exercise
When I got home I jumped right into Legs and Back, followed by Ab Ripper. I then wrapped it up with Stretch X, which was absolutely AMAZING. Extremely low intensity but really works your muscles with the idea of extending your flexibility. Increasing my flexibility has been one of the major things I have been striving to work at as I know I am particularly weak in this area. Loved today. Am planning on doing Yoga X tomorrow. Good work out day overall!!! I am finding that I am able to do all the warm ups (running, jacks, etc) straight through without stopping for breaks. I have steadily been increasing in both my strength training exercises and with Ab Ripper. Looking back to the first time I did Abs and literally sat and watched them working out thinking "Hell to the NO" to now... where I am doing a lot more (still not the full 25 per ab routine but a ton better).
Food
Because of the length of my workouts yesterday and the intensity given, my net calories were only around 660. This left me a ton to eat but I was not hungry. Still trying to eat at least five meals a day (Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and then depending on intake a small snack before bed) but during the weekends, I often use my shake as a my lunch. Mark and I went to our Publix, where they have the scale I use for consistency, and sure enough, as predicted, my weight was at 157. So I went up a few pounds. I wasn't overly stressed because I know my inches have gone down some and I feel the muscles developing in my body (plus... this is also the time of the month where I gain icky water weight :-)) However, not liking that I may not be hitting on all my needed food areas. Don't want to sabotage myself in the end. Will continue to work on this.
Been feeling more tired than normal the last bit. Not sure whether this has to do with medication I am taking, supplements, food, or just because I am getting tired? Who knows but I will monitor.
That's all for tonight!! Nighty Night!
